Da Nang impresses Indian MICE tourists with premium services

Coastal city Da Nang is emerging as an attractive destination for the MICE segment (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) and high-end wedding tourism from India, thanks to synchronized investment in infrastructure, services, and personalized experiences.

According to major accommodation providers in Da Nang, one of the biggest challenges in serving South Asian guests is the diversity of culture, religion, and palate. To meet these specific needs, many resorts have built their own teams of Indian chefs, designing flexible menus with vegetarian dishes, Halal dishes, and authentic local flavors.

Besides cuisine, hotels and resorts are also strengthening staff training on Indian guest culture, habits, and psychology to enhance service experience. Da Nang is also promoting through Bollywood cinema, including organizing the premiere of the first Bollywood film shot in Vietnam at the Ariyana Convention Centre.

In early 2026, the city will also implement a program to attract tourists combined with wedding organization with many support policies based on group size, from gifts, welcome flowers to art and attraction experience tickets. These policies contribute to creating an impression of a friendly, hospitable destination ready to serve large-scale events.

In the first 4 months of 2026, the total number of overnight guests in Da Nang is estimated to reach nearly 6 million, an increase of 19.2% compared to the same period; international guests alone increased by nearly 25%.
