Da Nang shows sustainable appeal to the domestic tourist market, becoming the top searched destination in Vietnam.
Two major holidays just days apart have created opportunities for tourists to plan extended stays of up to 9 days, strongly boosting domestic travel demand. Records show that this year's travel trends are shifting significantly, with about 33% of Vietnamese tourists opting for more short domestic trips, while 22% prioritize long international journeys.
In this context, beach destinations continue to dominate. Besides Da Nang, names like Nha Trang, Vung Tau, Phu Quoc, and Mui Ne are also among the most searched, reflecting tourists' demand to "escape the heat" and enjoy early summer vacations. However, Da Nang maintains its leading position thanks to its combination of coastal scenery, integrated tourism infrastructure, and diverse experience ecosystem.
A Booking.com representative commented that search data indicates tourists are increasingly planning their trips proactively and with a higher degree of personalization, prioritizing destinations that can fully meet their needs for relaxation, entertainment, and exploration.
Continuing to lead the search rankings not only affirms the sustainable appeal of Da Nang tourism but also shows that the city is increasingly becoming the top choice for long holidays for Vietnamese tourists.
