Located in the center of Da Nang city, the Museum of Cham Sculpture was commenced construction in 1915 and officially opened to the public in 1919. The museum's architecture is a harmonious blend of French neoclassical style and traditional Cham Pa elements, creating a unique and impressive space. Inside, the museum displays sandstone and terracotta sculptures, including statues of deities, reliefs, and other architectural artifacts, divided by geographical areas where they were discovered, such as My Son, Tra Kieu, Dong Duong, and Thap Mam. Each artifact carries its own historical story and unique artistic value, helping visitors gain a deeper understanding of the culture and religion of the ancient Cham people.
